Condition Report: The hinge on the lid has been repaired with new fixing plate. Possible re-positioning of the hinge. The bright cut decoration in this vicinity has worn off (or has been lost due to the repair). The wooden part of the finial appears to be a later replacement and is held on by an iron wash nut. The basal rim has one small solder repair (presumably covering a small pin head size hole) on one side on the basal rim. Denting to the upper part of the spout. Sold with all faults.
