A Second World War 49th Divisional Christmas Card for 1944, printed for the men of the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, but withdrawn because it was thought to be unsuitable, in fact indecent. The card depicts the "Butcher Bear" standing with his chopping block at the sign-post to Rauray, numerous SS casualties strewn about him. Sold together with a pin-up photograph found in a German billet in Arnhem in March 1945.
