A 17th Century Sword, the 82cm triangular section fullered steel blade engraved with tendrils, the brass hilt with bowl guard, finger grips to the crossguard, curved knuckle bow, wire bound grip and vase shaped pommel; a 1796 Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword, with 78cm single edge fullered steel blade, gilt brass hilt with half hinged double shell guard, wire bound grip, stirrup knuckle bow and leaf sheathed vase pommel, with brass mounted leather scabbard - poor order (2)

1 - blade rust pitted and bent at tip, brass bowl guard with five splits to the centre, knocks to edge, wire coming adrift from grip, needs cleaning up. 2 - blade rust pitted, wear to gilding on hilt, otherwise ok., the scabbard is very tatty with the end missing.
