A 19th Century Indo-Persian Talwar, with 76cm plain single edge narrow curved steel blade, with iron lozenge ecusson and compressed globular quillons, the ebony grip bound above the crossguard with silver wire, set with three silver rosettes and with silver capped beak shaped pommel embossed and chased with leaves and beadwork, with suspension ring and silver filigree backstrap.
