A 1796 Pattern Light Cavalry Trooper's Sword to the Percy Tenantry of Alnwick Castle, Northumberland, the 82.5cm single edge broad fullered steel blade stamped GILL on the back edge, the steel stirrup hilt with shield shape langets, one engraved T, the leather bound grip lacking wire binding, the steel scabbard engraved with T over 12 and the Percy crest of a crescent moon below a crown within a ribbon legend.
