A Dan Wood Mask, the oval face with pointed chin, domed forehead with a medial ridge running down to the aquiline nose, protruding lids and slit eyes with white painted sockets, wearing a cowrie shell head band and with fringed string beard; three other smaller masks. (4)

A South African Wood Oliphant, the finial carved as a bearded man wearing three bands around his head, with inset blue glass eyes, his hands resting on his knees and seated on a sphere, the blow hole below on a field carved with basketwork, the main panelled body lacking its lower section, now mounted on a metal stand, 41cm high.
