An 1858 Pattern "Tower" Artillery Carbine, .577 calibre, the 61.5cm smooth bore steel barrel with Board of Ordnance marks and stamped with 25 gauge mark, the lock plate stamped with a crown, TOWER over a faint date 1859, and with crowned arrowhead, walnut stock with two steel bands, brass fore-end tip, trigger guard and butt plate, with steel sling swivel (one missing), and steel ramrod.
