A Second World War Family Group of Medals, comprising 1939-45 Star, Africa Star, France and Germany Star, Defence and War Medals, awarded to T/155981 Lance Corporal Amos Clapham 729 Company RASC (GHQ Cor) with Soldiers Release Book, Pay Book, a volume of Eighth Army - El Almein to the River Sangro which was signed by Field Marshall B L Montgomery when it was given to Amos Clapham, two other books, photographs and ephemera, and his pair of desert sun glasses; and 1939-45 Star, Italy Star, Defence and War Medals, to his brother Private Herbert Clapham with newspaper cutting and photographs; a Royal Doulton Character Jug - Monty, and a small Cooper Clayton character jug - Churchill.
