An Impressive Satinwood, Gilt and Gesso Console Table and Mirror, late 19th century, the bevelled glass rectangular mirror within a ropetwist marginal frame flanked by painted satinwood panels of urns, ribbon tied motifs and oval portraits, the pediment with leaf cast and egg and dart moulding, the table of inverted breakfront form, richly painted with floral sprays, ribbon tied motifs and an oval medallion, the frieze centred by a fluted tablet with a moulded egg and dart edge, raised on square tapering legs decorated with husks, united by a shaped undertier centred by a small urn, the mirror 160cm by 195cm, the table 155cm by 49cm by 86cm
