Provenance: MacConnal-Mason & Son Ltd, London

Aumonier was a landscape painter and textile designer. He studied at the Birkbeck Institution and the Royal College of Art, exhibiting at the Royal Academy 1871-1907. In 1908 he held an exhibition of watercolours at the Leicester Galleries, and his work was included at the Goupil Gallery the same year.
