A Gold and Faience Demi-Parure of Archaeological Design, comprising a pair of earrings of fluted ovoid form, for pierced ears, the necklace hung with seventeen similar beads interspersed with examples in the shape of masks, drapes and hands, punctuated by three compressed small beads, with S shape clasp, 44.5cm long. In the original purchase invoice letter it is stated that the gold is 900 standard and that some of the beads are Roman Faience circa 200AD. It also states that the small round beads are Syrian-Roman glass beads. The original cost price for the necklace was 8,300 euros, and the earrings 1,850 euros (2008).
