An Ivory Coast Wood Stool, the slightly dished rectangular seat carved with two bands of three chevrons, supported on the upturned hands and knees of a recumbant man, on a rectangular plinth; a Pair of Fang Type Masks, each of elongated form, with domed forehead, pierced eyes, scarified cheeks, elongated nose and pursed lips, painte in black and white; a Small African Ivory Mask Pendant; a Lega Type Wood Staff, the pommel carved as the head of a man, with short arms to the side, the cut-down haft entwined with a band of snakes (5)

An Indonesian Hardwood Paddle, with flat narrow blade, cylindrical haft, the boat shaped pommel inscribed in ink "Carang Carang Pirates, 11th May 1872, Nassau", 137cm long, blade width 8cm.
**Collected by Captain William Chimmo of HMS Nassau on his trip to the Sulu Archipelago circa 1872. HMS Nassau encountered the Sulee Pirates and was responsible for the fall of Carang in 1872.
