An Hutschenreuther (Bavaria) Vienna Style Porcelain "Napoleon á Fontainebleau" Cabinet Plate, circa 1900, circular, the border divided into formalised panels glazed in ruby, lavender, soft yellow and green, centrally painted with a full length seated portrait of Napoleon in military attire, impressed crown and shield mark, underglaze printed crown and RK monogram and Dresden, inscribed P.Delaroche; Napoleon á Fontainebleau in grey script and (artist's?) initials JBH, 24.6cm diameter

Hippolyte Delaroche, better known as Paul Delaroche (17 July 1797-4 Nov 1896) was a French painter born in Paris.
