A Copeland Parian Bust of Clytie, after the Antique, 1855, the beautiful maiden depicted bust length issuing from foliage, on a concave sided circular base with brown transfer printed mark O Delpech (Redt) Art Union of London 1855, 35cm high The original Greco-Roman marble is in the Townley Collection at the British Museum. This was executed as prizes for the Art Union of London from 1855 onwards.

Venus, after John Gibson RA, Copeland, circa 1850-70, standing holding an apple in her left hand and holding her tunic mantle (with gilt and tinted borders), on a shaped oval stepped base, impressed Copeland, 42.5cm highA similar figure is illustrated in Copeland (Robert) Parian, Copeland's Statuary Porcelain, page 188, illustration and entry S182. Gibson's original sculpture of Venus was executed in marble and was known as Venus Verticordia, and was completed in 1833. The one reproduced by Copeland was introduced in 1849 and was included in the display at The Great Exhibition of 1851.
