Filled Silver Presentation Trophy as an Indian Elephant, standing carrying a double compartment trunk on its back, the sides indistinctly engraved `VIIIth Regiment.....', the saddle cloth engraved with the regimental badge on one side, the opposing side with inscription 'From Lieut.Colonel Robt. Fenwick, to the 8th Reg.M.N.I. on quitting it in 1838', all mounted on a later mahogany plinth, 18.5cm
