Now accepting entries for all Forthcoming Sales

Fine Art Sales - March, July & November, entries now invited

The strength of economies in Asia has led to a corresponding increase in the market for many areas of collecting, including porcelain, jades, fans, bronzes, lacquer, costume, furniture and wooden carvings to name but a few.

In this booming market it is crucial for owners of any such items considering sale (or indeed insurance cover) that they obtain a realistic and crucially expert estimate of their potential worth.

Tennants have a dedicated department for Asian art, where experts with proven experience are on hand to examine, research and appraise items for you.

We have an extensive database of private collectors and dealers in Eastern art and they have come to rely on us to provide expert research and cataloguing for pieces in which they wish to invest.  The provenance of a piece of art is one aspect which is more and more important for buyers when acquiring rare items at auction and Tennants are in a strong position to be able to provide this through diligent research in conjunction with the family or person selling the piece at the vendor's discretion.

Our expertise and ability ensures we are able to market rare pieces through our website, via sale room auction portals and through international advertising in publications dedicated to the Arts of Asia.
