The price of £2000 was paid for a George III half crown (S 3807) in extremely fine condition having only a slight mark on the thistle. This coin is a part of a collection, which is being offered for sale over the coming months

Lot 188

Coins of the Isle of Man in extremely fine condition are hard to find. The coins offered were James Stanley second issue penny and half penny and coins of James Murray second Duke of Athol. Price £400

The top price of £3000 was paid for a collection of 800 silver and copper world coins housed in a modern thirty-tray mahogany cabinet. Old and modern cabinets always sell well in our saleroom.
