Throughout 2016 the Vintage Costume, Textiles and Dolls department at Tennants has been auctioning a good, private collection of knitting sheaths and sticks, which had been formed by a Hartlepool couple over their lifetime.

The Militaria & Ethnographic Sale at Tennants Auctioneers on Wednesday 7th September 2016 comprises 530 lots and includes one particularly interesting collection of curious / primitive money from the late S.G.M Adams, Medallist.
We previously highlighted Part II of the Collection of the late Honorary British Consul Kurt David Bruhl of Graz, Austria, as “one to watch” in the International Summer Fine Art Sale; the impressive collection of jewellery certainly didn’t disappoint.  
The Toys, Models and Collectables Sale held at Tennants Auctioneers on Friday 5th August reached a hammer total of £43,220 for the 287 lots on offer. ­
A good private collection of Royal Worcester Horses, modelled by Doris Lindner will go under the hammer on Saturday 10 September 2016.  Among the collection is the extremely rare model “The Winner with Jockey and Stable Boy”.
