Four Late 19th Century Turkish Embroidered Hand Towels, embroidered in coloured silks in foliate designs with metallic thread details; Similar Panel, woven overall with coloured flower heads in yellow, white, red, pink, green and silver, with central floral medallion, 95cm by 108cm; Another Panel, woven overall with white and pale blue flower heads, with a central roundel with pale pink embroidered flower, 92cm by 98cm; Pair of Similar Scarves, embroidered to each end with decorative flowers with silver thread detailing, 19cm by 230cm (8)

Condition Report:
Towel with four stylised flowers - in orange and green, condition good, but cloth has been cut, 54cm by 60cm. Towel with two large flower heads in orange, peach and silver - some tarnishing to the metallic thread and slight wear. 108cm by 47cm Towel with boteh shaped embroidery - one end has been cut, condition ok, 43cm by 63cm Towel with triple white daisy head style flowers - slight wear overall, 88cm by 45cm. Floral panel; central motif is rubbed and worn. Some stains, possibly water damage. Also staining from the coloured flower heads in yellow, red. Numerous little black mark in some areas, damp? Numerous thread pulls overall. White and blue floral panel - small stitched repair, colours faded, several small thread pulls overall. Two scarves- both show areas of damp/discolouration, some staining, one of the scarves has been hand stitched together.
