Charles MacLean is Scotland’s leading whisky expert, with a deep passion for his subject. He has written numerous acclaimed books on Scotch whisky and acts as a consultant to the whisky industry. Charles was elected Master of the Quaich in 2009, the industry’s highest accolade.
In his talk, Charles will be speaking about the development of Scottish whisky through the war years to the thriving industry it is today.
The talk will be accompanied by a guided tasting of four single malt whiskies from across Scotland in association with Campbells of Leyburn.
