The Beswick and Border Fine Arts Department holds specialist auctions four times a year, with high prices being realised for both rare and more familiar items. From a Beswick Belted Galloway Bull to a Border Fine Arts Black Faced Tup, our sales will delight any collector.
Limited edition Border Fine Arts with original boxes and certificates are highly sought after, and mounted Beswick models, or those in a rare or unusual colourway always attract buyers’ attention.
These specialist sales also include Royal Worcester figures by modellers such as Doris Lindner and Freda Doughty, with cattle and horses, and groups such as ‘Months of the Year’ making good prices.
We also include Beswick, Border Fine Arts and Royal Worcester in our fortnightly Antiques & Interiors auctions.
Recent sale highlights include a Border Fine Arts ‘Bringing in the Harvest’ model, which sold for £320 and a Border Fine Arts Cropmaster ‘The First Cut’, which sold for £480. Among the Beswick, a Merino Ram sold for £600, a Turkey sold for £450 and a Girl on Pony in light dapple grey gloss sold for £850. Royal Worcester highlights include ‘Hackney Stallion’, which sold for £900 and ‘Children of the Nations’ – England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, which sold for £240 for the 4.
