The Decorative Arts Department is renowned for its expertise and knowledge across all the major movements from 1860 to the present day.

These range from William Morris and the Arts and Crafts Movement through to Aesthetic, Art Nouveau and Art Deco pieces, as well as post-war and contemporary design.

Our expertise in this field covers a wide range of mediums including ceramics, studio pottery, glass, metalwork, sculpture, furniture and Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson oak.

Significant and high-profile sales have included the entire Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson Library from Leeds Girls’ High School and The Michael Webb collection of studio pottery.
