Following the success of last years exhibition, we are delighted to be hosting the British Life Photography Awards Touring Exhibition, featuring the winners of the prestigious competition held in 2018.
The British Life Photography Awards celebrate British life and culture, whilst highlighting the relevance and importance of photography to raise awareness and inform. The exhibition showcases the work of both established and emerging amateur and professional photographers. With ten separate categories including street life, rural life, portraiture and documentary feature, the photographs document real life in Britain through original, illuminating, though provoking, humorous and poignant imagery.
Documenting daily life has been a tradition for over a century, so just like the great documentary photographers of the past and present, the awards encourage photographers to elevate the commonplace and familiar into something compelling or fascinating through the craft, creativity and discipline of photography.
