Tennants offer free auction valuations for all your fine art, antiques and collectables.
Whether you bring your items in for a valuation in person or submit images for a valuation through our website or via email, one of our team of knowledgeable specialists will use their expertise to appraise your item and give you a realistic auction estimate for your property.
Valuations at the Leyburn Salerooms
Tennants is open every weekday between 8.30 and 5pm for free auction valuations at the Leyburn salerooms.
For valuations of general antiques and collectables, our team of general valuers will be on hand and no appointment is necessary.
If you have a specialist item to be valued, such as stamps, please contact us before you visit to ensure the specialist valuer is on hand to see you, as they may not be available every day.

Valuations at the Harrogate Office
The Harrogate Office is open every Monday between 10am and 4pm for free auction valuations of general antiques and collectables, and no appointment is necessary.
We also offer a drop-off and transport service for smaller items for sale or valuation at the Leyburn salerooms. By prior arrangement, you can leave your items in the Harrogate Office during their opening hours and they will be delivered to Leyburn free of charge.
The Harrogate Office also hosts regular Specialist Valuations Days with our valuers. These Valuation Days are by appointment only, which can be booked directly with the Harrogate Office.

External valuation events
Tennants holds regular free Valuation Events at venues across Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cheshire.
At each event a team of valuers will be on hand to discuss your antiques, jewellery and collectables, and provide you with a free auction estimate for items you wish to sell.
No appointments are necessary at any of our Valuation Events and our team will be available to advise you on all aspects of buying and selling at auction. Smaller items can be consigned at the event, or you can discuss consigning at a later date.
If you live near one of our Valuation Events and have a large item or a large collection you would like valuing, please contact us to arrange a confidential home visit when we are in the area.
