Based in our large, purpose-built salerooms the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, each specialist is responsible for valuing a diverse range of items, from everyday single pieces through to collections of the best quality collectables and antiques.  Working as part of a team, each specialist has responsibility for part of an annual programme of auctions and is involved in every stage of the sale process, from initial valuations, cataloguing, marketing and photography.  The role is office based but with some occasional regional and national travel.

To be successful you will need substantial, demonstrable experience and qualifications in your chosen field although not necessarily in the auctions sector.  You will also have great interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.  You must be well organised and able to work quickly and accurately on your own initiative in order to meet tight deadlines.

This is an exciting opportunity for applicants looking to further their career in the hospitality industry or to learn new skills.
Full and part time positions available, Week days/Weekends/Evenings.

We are looking for friendly, presentable, loyal staff to work as part of a team in a busy environment.  Daily duties include serving food and drink in a professional and knowledgeable manner to both restaurant and café customers.  The role will also include hosting the catering side of special events. Previous bar experience advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
