THE ICONIC WORKS OF ROBERT 'MOUSEMAN' THOMPSON

To coincide with the landmark auction Mouseman: The 150th Anniversary Sale, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson, Tennants are delighted to be holding an exclusive evening preview of the sale with supper, followed by a talk by Mouseman Specialist Diane Sinnott.

In this talk, Diane will offer insight into some of Mouseman’s most iconic early pieces of furniture such as the Hutch, the evolution of the Monk’s Chair, and selected important commissions. Diane will also discuss Mouseman master carvers including George Weightman and Stan Dodds.

TIMINGS

5pm-6pm: Arrival and exclusive viewing of the sale

6pm-7.15pm: Talk by Diane Sinnott followed by Q&A session

7.30pm-8.30pm: Two-course supper

8.30pm-9pm: Further viewing
