We are delighted to have been loaned 45 vintage photographic postcards depicting Wensleydale by local collector Clive Torrens. Predominantly dating from 1900-1925, all the postcards were produced by Leyburn photographer J.B. Smithson and offer a fascinating insight into life in the Dale a century ago.
The postcards have been reproduced in the exhibition on a larger scale for ease of viewing.
