Alice joined Tennants in 2023 as the Trainee Picture Specialist.

Having gained her BA in History of Art & English Literature at Edinburgh University, she first came to the auction world when she completed several months of work experience at Tennants and then at Sotheby's. Staying in London, Alice worked as a Gallery Manager for an ancient art gallery and a paintings gallery, during which time she undertook a master’s degree in Preventive Conservation at Northumbria University. After returning to Yorkshire, Alice established and ran her own business for three years before joining at Tennants in the Pictures Department.
