Aurélie joined Tennants in 2025 as a General Valuer and Auctioneer. Having gained masters degrees in Law and History of Art at Sorbonne University in Paris, she went on to the École du Louvre where she gained her qualification to practice as an auctioneer in France. After three years working for a major Parisian auction house, she then worked for a regional French auction house for over five years as a general valuer and auctioneers. Aurélie was inspired to follow in the footsteps of her forebears, the Hepper family having been auctioneers in Leeds for over 150 years from the 1820s to the 1970s. She has a particular interest in French furniture and works of art as well as traditional paintings.
