A wide range of Champagne, Wine, Whisky, Port and Cognac offers a mix of bottles for investing and collecting along with lots perfect for drinking during the Christmas party season with estimates starting at just £40-60 (all figures exclude buyer’s premium).

Preview: Fine Wine & Whisky Sale 3rd December
A good offering of wines in the sale includes interesting cases and half cases, perfect for parties. These include six bottles of Château Mouton Rothschild 1966 Pauillac (estimate: £1,500-2,000), twelve magnums of Château Beau-Séjour Bécot 1981 Premier Grand Cru Classé Saint-Émilion (estimate: £800-1,000), and twelve bottles of Château Leoville-Las Cases ‘Grand Vin de Leoville’ 1982 Saint-Julien (estimate: £1,500-2,000). Of interest will be twelve bottles of Château Rauzan Segla 2009 Margaux (estimate: £550-650) and Rodolphe Demougeot “Les Ependes” 1995 Beune (estimate: £500-600).
For those looking for exceptional value wines or a little variety to drink this Christmas, several good group lots are on offer. Notable lots include a mixed group of thirty-nine bottles of red, white and rose together with bottles of sparkling wine, champagne and even a bottle of port all on offer with an estimate of £500-600.
Whisky, too, is well represented with good bottles including a limited release Dalmore 42 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, distilled in 1979 and sold with an estimate of £4,000-6,000. From Glenmorangie are a 1963 Pure Old Highland Malt Scotch Whisky (estimate: £1,000-1,500), and a bottle of 1975 “Tain L’Hermitage” Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky sold in its original wooden presentation case with booklet (estimate: £400-600). Amongst the first part of a notable private collection of whiskies bottled by Matthew Adams for their Private Selection Single Cask Series is a Macallan 32 Years Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled in 1989 (estimate: £500-700). A further selection of bottles from the collection will be sold in the Spring Fine Wine and Whisky Sale.
