The Motor Vehicle & Automobilia Sale Preview

Classic examples of British engineering are up for grabs in the Motor Vehicle and Automobilia Sale on 28th September with two stylish Jaguar’s; a 1969 E-type Coupe, which is estimated to sell for £60,000-70,000 (plus buyer’s premium), and a 1971 E-type Series 3 2+2 Coupe estimated at £48,000-55,000 (plus buyer’s premium). Further British classics include a sought-after and fully restored 1959 Land Rover Series 2 on offer with an estimate of £20,000-24,000 (plus buyer’s premium), and a 1966 Hillman Minx Series 6 DE-Luxe with Overdrive estimated at £7,000-8,000 (plus buyer’s premium). Early motoring history is represented too, with a 1924 Morris Bullnose (estimate £10,500-12,500 plus buyer’s premium), and a 1928 Sunbeam 16.9 Saloon (estimate £9,500-12,000 plus buyer’s premium).

For those looking for something a little sportier, two iconic Porsche 911’s are for sale too, with a 1987 3.2 Carrera Coupe on offer with an estimate of £33,000-40,000 (plus buyer’s premium), and a 2002 Carrera 4S on offer with an estimate of £13,500-14,500 (plus buyer’s premium). Amongst a wide selection of automobilia are several personalised car registrations – the highlight being the desirable ‘DR 11’ number plate (£40,000-50,000 plus premium).
