Ticket Signed by the Beatles

2nd July 2026.

A rare concert ticket signed by The Beatles is coming under the hammer in the Toys and Collectables, Sporting and Fishing Sale at Tennants Auctioneers on 22nd July, and is expected to sell for £3,000-5,000 (all figures exclude buyer’s premium). The ticket was for a concert by The Beatles, held at the Grosvenor on Prince of Wales Road, Norwich on Friday 17th May 1963, at the height of Beatlemania.

The signatures of Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison were obtained by the vendor of the ticket, after they attended the performance. Tennants’ Toys and Collectables Specialist Kegan Harrison said of the sale: “Anything relating to The Beatles remains incredibly popular, and it is fantastic to have such strong provenance with this lot, with the vendor having actually been present when they were signed.”

For those who veer towards the Punk era, there is also on offer in the sale a set of signatures from the Sex Pistols, inscribed on a page from a 1977 NME magazine advertising the album ‘Never Mind The Bollocks Here’s The Sex Pistols’. The hand-signed signatures are for Steve Jones, Paul Cook, John Rotten and Sid Vicious, with the additions of scrawled ‘With Love’, ‘Bollocks’, ‘XXX’ and ‘Boogie’. The lot is offered with an estimate of £2,000-3,000 and is sold with a certificate of authenticity from Frasers Autographs.
