A curated auction of luxury designer accessories will be offered in Tennants Auctioneers’ Designer Sale, a timed online auction running from Friday 1st to Sunday 17th July.
The sale will offer bidders the chance to buy handbags, scarves and other accessories by leading designer names including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Hermes, Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo and Alexander McQueen. Each piece has been carefully selected from private collections, and all are in excellent condition.
Amongst the fabulous items on offer are a highly covetable Chanel Quilted Double Flap Leather Shoulder Bag from the 1990s, on offer with an estimate of £1,200-1500 plus buyer’s premium and sold with its authentication card. A good range of goods by Louis Vuitton in the sale include an ‘On The Go’ Empreinte Leather Bag with beige and black monogrammed leather (estimate: £600-800), and a selection of their iconic luggage such as the Louis Vuitton Pegase 55 Monogram Cabin Suitcase (estimate: £500-800).
On-trend modern cross-body bags, such as a Gucci Small Orange Pebble Leather Soho Disco Bag (estimate: £300-500) are joined by a selection of in-demand costume jewellery by the likes of Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Gucci and Hèrmes.
Colour and pattern are bought to the sale by a superb selection of iconic Hèrmes boxed silk scarves in vibrant colours with both new and vintage designs, with estimates of £100-150 for the classic ‘Carré’ 90cm squares.
Bidding for the timed auction opens on the 1st July, and all lots will be available for viewing from 10th – 14th July in Tennants’ Leyburn Saleroom as well as being illustrated fully online.
